About the project

The brief and the answer

chez Lavaux sells original perfumes online in Egypt and reaches its customers mainly through Instagram and Facebook. The team built its store at chezlavaux.com in Arabic and English: collections by type, brand and season, product pages with each fragrance’s notes, a «buy 2, get the 3rd free» offer calculated automatically in the cart, and cash on delivery with Bosta shipping.

Because most sales start with a message or a comment, the team developed a custom operations dashboard for following customers and orders, connected to three platforms: Shopify for orders, products and prices; Meta, through an app registered on Meta for Developers and its official Graph API, for Instagram and Messenger messages and comments on both pages; and Bosta for the live status of every shipment.

Replies and day-to-day operations run on AI: the system reads every message and comment, sorts it into enquiry, order or complaint, drafts the right reply in the customer’s own dialect with the product’s price and link or the order’s real status from Bosta, learns from the team’s replies to improve, and closes finished conversations on its own. Customer service reviews and sends from one place, with team accounts and permissions, performance per shift and a log of every action; the dashboard runs in Arabic and English and installs on a phone like an app.

Alongside the store and the app, the team runs the brand’s social media end to end: poster and ad design, captions, scheduled publishing on Facebook and Instagram, and daily replies.
